PROPOSED RECOMMENDATION

To award a construction contract to Pacy & Wheatley Ltd at a value of £239,141.75 for alterations to provide targeted SEN provision at Alverton Community Primary School.

BACKGROUND TO SUPPORT THE RECOMMENDATION

A competitiveprocurement exercise was undertaken during March and May 2022 utilising the YORbuild framework.  The scheme is programmed to commence on site in July 2022 and is due to complete September 2022.

LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE COMPLIANCE

A competitive procurement exercise was undertaken by the Council’s Procurement and Contract Management Service.

RECOMMENDATION

That a construction contract be awarded to Pacy & Wheatley Ltd.
